Hair Removal

Waxing is a semi-permanent hair removal method. The technique removes hair from the root and it takes 3 to 8 weeks for the new hair to grow. Unlike other hair removal techniques such as threading; waxing can be done on almost any part of the body including arms, legs, back, eyebrow, abdomen, face, bikini area and arms.

Strip wax

Strip Wax also known as soft wax is a perfect choice for larger surface areas such as the leg and arms. The wax is smoothed onto the skin with a spatula then a paper strip is then placed over the wax before being quickly removed. Most women can go 4-6 weeks between appointments.

Hot wax

Hot wax is warmed to a slightly higher temperature. It is a much thicker consistency than strip wax and it also sets hard. A pre wax oil is applied to the skin which acts as a barrier to the wax meaning it is very gentle for the skin. The wax is then applied,  allowed to cool and set, and then pulled directly off without the use of a paper strip. Hot wax is designed to shrink-wrap around the hair follicle, removing it from the root without pulling at the skin.

After care

Aftercare is critical after your wax to ensure your skin doesn't have a reaction.  We use a soothing post wax lotion which calms and soothes the waxed areas. We strongly recommend that swimming and sunbathing is avoided until the skin has recovered, and any redness has subsided.

Hollywood wax

A simply beauty Hollywood wax consists of full hair removal. All of your hair at the front, back and underneath.
