Epionce Lite Refresh Peel

The Epionce Lite refresh peel is a light treatment that combines the benefits of a skin peel with little to no recovery time, meaning it’s great for all skin types, even if you suffer with sensitive skin!
This is ideal for anyone embarking on a peel for the first time or for those clients seeking a lighter alternative to the Epionce corrective peel. This treatment is great for the majority of skin concerns and can help with acne, post-acne discolouration, rosacea, over red skin and sensitive skin as it strengthens the skin’s natural barrier response, which also helps improve signs of ageing and overall dullness of the skin.
The main benefit of the peel is to enhance skin hydration and encourage cell turnover. Results are impressive: skin has a glowing, smooth and more youthful appearance without any redness, peeling or flaking.
This peel uses 2 main acids for addressing skin concerns. These are Malic Acid (30%) and Salicylic Acid (5%).
Salicylic acid and Malic acid accelerate cell turnover with less exfoliation than other peels to reveal more beautiful, radiant skin.

The peel also contains healing extracts such as willow bark so it’s great if your skin is inflamed.
The peel is applied to the skin and is built up throughout your treatment course meaning that a noticeable improvement can be seen throughout your journey

The procedure
We start by cleansing and preparing your skin using all the Epionce range. Eye protectors and medical barrier cream is applied to sensitive areas. The chemical solution is then applied onto the skin being treated using gores (avoiding your brows, eyes and lips). During the peel application, you may experience a slight tingling (light to medium peels). These sensations are usually minimal for light and medium peels. The length of time the solution is allowed to work is determined by carefully observing the changes in the appearance of your skin. The solution will then be "neutralized" after an appropriate amount of time has elapsed. Your skin cells are removed from the top layer of skin (epidermis) leaving baby soft glowy skin. A mask is then applied and we do a facial lymphatic drainage.
